In which I find myself in cropped trousers in winter

The teachers are on strike today and personally I think they should strike more often. I wouldn't mind the odd day off school here and there. Well, since I'm on study leave it's not really an extra day off except for the fact that my modern studies exam has been rescheduled for Monday. However, my friend that moved away to Singapore three years ago is coming to visit today so my friends and I have decided to go meet him and I've decided to give revision the slip for today. It's nice just to relax and chill out, although I do still have the feeling that everything is just piling up on top of me and every time I finish one thing there's another 3 billion waiting for me. Ah well... what can I do?

Outfit - All new look except my converse.
A trip to the cinema today sees me probably slightly wierdly dressed for this time of year. "What!?" I hear you question me, "Cropped trousers in winter?!" Yes indeed. The colour matches my cardi and I just felt I'd get the most out of the sunshine I possibly could. Contrast these with possibly the warmest cardigin I own and my winter jacket, I do indeed look a bit of a state. But who cares? Life is for living, I say. (Please excuse the distainful look on my face. I don't know what happened there.)

Also, this has nothing to do with this post I just thought it was kinda cool. Last night I began my latest doodle. So far it's turning out allright but everything's a bit spaced out. I'll keep you updated with how that goes!

In which I stay in my pyjamas all day

Yester day was a very lazy day. I'm on exam leave at the moment and I didn't have any exams yesterday so I was free to lounge about all day. I did spend most of the day revising biology but I kept getting distracted by Facebook, Blogger etc... The usual. So anyway, I figured when I got up at half past 8, which is a lie in for me, I might just go downstairs, check my news feed and then come back up and get dressed. Of course, the inevitable happened and I got majorly distracted and forgot all about getting dressed. I ended up staying in my jammies all day long! Tut, tut, tut.

I had my fluffy Primark dressing gown on so my body was lovely and toasty but I was too lazy to go and get socks so my feet were like ice-cubes with toe nails all day...

I did eventually start my revision and oh boy did I start. The dining room was (and still is, actually) like an explosion of lined paper, diagrams of brains pens and cut up pieces of paper.

Well. Breakfast was delicious. I LOOOOVE golden syrup and pancakes! Mmmm. My mouth is watering.

I came through to eat my brakfast on the sofa and found Angus all curled up with his back legs through his front legs. He lies like this all the time... it's the strangest thing.

My mum came home after work having very-kindly nipped into iceland and bought me and my sister Advent calendars. The Spongebob one is for my sister and the Milky bar one is mine because I simply cannot get enough white chocolate at the moment.

So! That was my day! I don't have time for anything else at the moment because I'm about to rush out for my biology prelim. Wish me luck!

The one where I warmly welcome winter

Hello winter! I know I've said this before but winter is definitely upon us. I love winter. It beats summer as my favourite season hands down. I'm especially looking forward to this Christmas beceause it means the end of my prelims. Yaay! Also, winter fashion is lovely, especially this year with all the chunky knits and cosy boots and stuff.

The one where I return... with a moustache

Yes; I'm back! It feels like aaaaaaaaaaaages since I've posted and that's bad.

Anyway, it's November now and it has been for a while. One of the reasons that I love November is that it's MOvember too. For anyone who isn't aware, Movember is a charity organisation which encourages men to grow a moustache for the 30 days of Movember. They are responsible for the fine moustachery that sprouts up in Britain in November. The main aim of this project is to raise funds for mens cancers and, I guess, change the 'face' of men's health. You can visit their website HERE.

It's always hilarious because a lot of the male teachers start growing moustaches. The best ones are the ones that go all out and grow a full on  cowboy moustache or one of those little curly ones. At the moment my PE teacher is sporting a moustache that bends right round the corners of his mouth and he has a little goatee going on underneath. It's great!

I would like to take part and become a 'Mobro', however, as I am neither a man nor a bearded lady, that would be very difficult. Therefore, please enjoy this picture of me with a finger moustache instead!

Become a 'Mo-sista' and let's see your finger moustache! :D

The one where I empty my bag out.

So today, this is kind of a what's in my bag post except what's in my school bag post. Y'know, just cos I'm different and unique. I actually love my bag. It's so comfy and fits everything in. Also, it has a picture of my second favourite cartoon as a child, after Postman Pat, of course. What more could you ask for in a bag eh?

♥Bag - Lava (a boutique in Edinburgh)
♥Makeup bag containing not much - this was a present
♥Purse - Debenhams
♥Pen - WHSmith

There's also business management notes (yawny yawn yawn), a French textbook, some jotters, a calculator and a bottle of hand sanitizer for when I have to disect an eyeball in Biology and don't have time to wash my hands... that's a different story though.

I have barely any time on my hands at the moment with my prelims coming up and the enormous amount of homework I keep getting. It's unreal how much I have to do (and how much I keep putting it off). Anyway, the point is, if I don't post in a wee while, or my post are short, slightly un-exciting or not very detailed (like this one) that's the reason!

What's in your bag?

The one where I use photobucket

I really like editing photos. I used to just use the exposure settings on my computer but then I discovered sights like Photobucket, Piknik and Rollip. Photobucket is my favourite though!

A peacock at Blair Castle :) aw

Sometimes though, they make more of an impact left natural.

I took this when I went on a school trip to the aisle of Eigg. Look at the big cow right there!
This is from Eigg too. A big heard of Highland coos were following us!
And my beloved poochy-wooch, Angus, in the snow :) n'aww

The one where oficially start feeling wintery

I have oficially started feeling wintery. The long nights, winter jumpers and condensation on the windows have all begun. Technically it's still Autumn, I know but with Christmas looming next month, (!!!) it just makes me want to go Christmas shopping. I felt it might be a bit early for christmas shopping though so instead I nagged my mum to take me out to Primark. Which she did. :)

a big 5 pack of socks £1 (? not sure exactly how much)

♥ Boots - £12 ♥ Jumper - £14 ♥ Polo shirt - £6
♥ Charm (see below) - £1

I also bought this wee guy to attach onto my charm bracelet.

When I got home I decided to paint my nails with Barry M Crackle.

I used Rimmel's red and yellow (for Autumn!) and the crackly stuff on top
all done :D
are you feeling wintery yet?

The one where I recap on Halloween

So, first of all ...
What's a Vampire's favourite type of phone?
Neckiea!! (like nokia??)
How was everyone's Halloween? I know it's a bit late but life has been hectic recently. Between, school, revision, homework and of course pumpkin carving, I haven't had any time to post.

I have to admit, the inner 8 year old in me got the better of me and I felt the need to participate in Halloween. I was at diving until later in the evening so it was too late to dress up when I got home but I did carve a pumpkin and hand out the sweets.

I was VERY proud of my pumpkin. We did only get one set of trick or treaters (boo!) but I put that down to my ecxellent pumpkin carving skills scaring everyone off, not to toot my own horn or anything (tootoot) . The group we did get told some quite rubbish jokes and then stole all the Chomps and Curly Wurlys. However, that suits me fine because Crunchies and Fudges are my favourites.

Anyway it's now November! Where the hell does time go? I cannot believe that it's Christmas next month. Or, my birthday! Woooooooohoooooooo! I can't wait!
