Guys, GUYS! I'm in Greece! I'm posting to you from my poolside lounger on my IPod (jealous?) and that's all very well but I've had a really hard time trying to do it because my blogger app is now in Greek so navigating it is a guessing game - it was just good luck that I managed to work out how to write a new post! Anyway... This is just a quick one to let you know the 411, just so y'all know I've not died! I'm going to attempt to post some crappy IPod pictures below so apologies for the quality! Good ones will be uploaded soon after I am home!

The last few days, while not quite as bleak as the few before, have not been the warmest or sunniest days ever. Therefore, I've spent a lot of time inside doing insidey stuff. I've been so ready the last few weeks to break out the summer vibes and dress like something out of a Katy Perry music video.
Time has been spent playing my ukulele. I'd like to think I've improved a bit from all this extra playing.
I painted my nails like little penguins. Because penguins are cute OKAY? They're, like, not at all summery but it's fine because neither is Scotland.
I drew a biro picture. The cat looks like a gremlin but ech, who cares?
How have you spent your last few days? Have they been as exciting as mine? No? Didn't think so.

I've been working on a little zine over the past week or so because I'm absolutely coming down with magazines and and newspapers that were just begging to be cut up. I've also been feeling strangley creative so I decided it would be a good idea to start a sort of project that would keep me busy for a few days. I'm not even nearly finished because I accidentaly made double the pages I meant to (I don't know how?) but these are just a few of my favourite spreads so far.
It's like, I don't know, a collage of the way things organise themselves inside my brain. Making this has made me realise the number of rediculous things I think of. Wow.
I also went shopping yesterday because I'm going on holiday next week and there is a shortage of clothes in my life that are even remotely suitable for countries with sun and summer temperatures warmer than 12 degrees.
shorts(£12), flipflops(£1.50), bikini(£4): Primark
Bikini(£14): Urban Outfitters

My mind is blank. All I am presenting you with is some photographs from my camera that have been edited to within an inch of their lives. How uncreative of me. Oh well...

I've seen quite a lot of these '1 dress, X ways' posts recently so I thought it would be fun to do one of my own but instead of just dressing it up different ways I thought I'd dress it the way I would in each of the 4 seasons. I mean, the way you dress in summer is really pretty different from the way you dress in winter, non?
I chose a fairly plain dress simply because this is the sort of thing I'd wear all year round. This dress has featured on my blog a couple of times before (because I'm a great believer in wearing things over and over again) so you might have seen it before.
I'll appologise in advance for my manic hair and lack of a nice backdrop. Sorry.
In spring it's still pretty cold so a knitted sweater layered on top is always a good move. I'd probably wear it with skin coloured tights too for extra warmth. I'd leave the collar out and I'd go for piles of jewellery.
bracelet: charity shops
Bracelet stack: Primark
shoes: TK Maxx
Minimal layers in summer, although you can't really plan for summer here. You could be in shorts and a vest one week and a wetsuit the next.
shoes: River Island
I wasn't sure about this one. I thought the combination of shoes/cardi sort of made me look like a nurse so I might lose the cardi or replace the shoes. Again, Autumn's cold so I'd go for tights.
Shoes: New Look
Chuck on a fairisle sweater and some thick cotton tights and you're good to go for winter. Boots are a good move too, and I chose these ones becuase they keep my feet dry and really warm, especially when I wear another pair of socks over my tights.
How do you dress in each season?

Last night I was at a house party celebrating my friend's 16th birthday. Being pretty tiny, I would probably keel over after half a sip of alcohol so I tend to avoid drinking at these events. A taste of what my friends are drinking is quite enough. I quite enjoy being sober at parties because it's so hilarious seeing all those that are drunk making complete fools of themselves.
Anyway, I shall get on with the point of this: my outfit! I realised on Friday after rummaging around in my floordrobe that I had absolutely nothing to wear so I nipped into town yesterday to nab myself something.
blazer: H&M £14.99
playsuit: Urban Outfitters: £22
necklace: Dorothy Perkins (I think?)
Shoes: New Look
The Urban Outfitters sale was wonderful. So many beautiful things. It was like wardrobe (and price!) heaven. This playsuit is one of these 'limited edition, recycled or remade' things which I didn't realise until I got home but it makes it that little bit more special.
I've been looking for a nice blazer for yonks now and I kept seeing them in H&M but I never went for it. This time I did and I'm really glad. It's so comfy and it was perfect for this party because we spent a lot of time in the garden where it was not exactly scorching.
